Hummel's newborn M23 hybrid connector
The latest addtion to Hummel's circular range of connectors is the M23 hybrid connector series. This series offers a fully integrated solution for Industrial Ethernet applications. The special feature of this hybrid connector is its ability to combine high power processing (28A and 630 V) with high speed data transmission, e.g. 500 Mbits/s. This is achieved thanks to the possibility to connect individual shieldings separately which prevents cross talking from occurring.

The TWILOCK system is a simple and highly reliable new quick-release fastening system for the circular M16 and M23 plug-in connectors from Hummel. TWILOCK is resistant to vibration loads and guarantees protection of IP67/IP69K (mated). It only takes one slight twist to lock and unlock the connector, making it easy for one-hand assembly and for use in places that are difficult to access or have limited space available.
