BESTSELLERS TECHNO IP68 CONNECTORS NOW ALSO AVAILABLE IN OVERMOULDED VERSION
Many applications within industrial automation and LED lighting often require cables that can withstand repeated bending and disconnecting. To fulfil this requirement, Techno now also offers its popular IP68 connector series, TH381 and TH387, with an overmoulded cable.
HIGH-QUALITY SEALING OF IP68 CONNECTOR
Techno uses a special injection process for the overmoulding that ensures the chemical and mechanical fusion of the adhesive between the cable and the connector. In addition, the special sealing resins provide a durable solution and optimum resistance to UV rays and adverse weather conditions.
The result is a high-quality cable connector, in TH381 or TH387 version, and available in a 2.3 and 5-pole version with an IP66/IP68/IP69K protection rating. The connectors are equipped with neoprene cables (H05 and H07) with lengths of 0.5m, 1m, 2m and 5m, and sections of 0.75 mm2, 1mm2 and 1.5mm2.
An additional advantage is that the overmoulded material used by Techno can perfectly adapt to the varying dimensions of the external cable insulation (due to ambient humidity and temperature changes).

As well as the IP68 guarantee, overmoulding also offers further benefits:

The connectors with overmoulded cables are suitable for LED lighting as they allow quick connection of pre-configured systems such as floodlights, linear light bars, and floor lighting systems, But also within industrial automation, where the connection or supply of motors and servomotors is often done via a range of IP68 connectors and cabling.

In addition to the standard versions, Techno also offers the option of developing remoulded connectors with custom dimensions or non-linear shapes, such as angular connectors, or with special cables, based on customer specifications.
