This 0.8mm pitch board-to-board connector was originally developed for use in automotive entertainment systems. It incorporates a clever mating design which helps mitigate against board-to-board misalignment. The connector has a current rating of 1.3 Amps. This is considered to be relatively high for a 0.8mm pitch (B2B) connector and is achieved by using material with high electrical characteristics for the connectors contacts. 0.8mm (.031") pitch, 35-circuits and 10.5mm (.413") stacking height The pitch and circuit number are designed to meet miniaturized multifunctional car audio and navigation equipment. Compensates for misalignment To make the assembly process at customers' site easier, misalignment of 0.5mm (.020") on X, Y and Z axes will be compensated for. Realized current rating of 1.3 Amps Realized 1.3A of current rating by having selected a high conductivity material for the contact.
