Originally designed for the power supply of large LCD's (liquid crystal displays) backlight applications, this 13mm pitch connector is considered very compact for a 3,000V rated connector. Also, as with the 3.5mm pitch BD connector, this connector incorporates a unique locking feature, which makes it ideal for demanding applications. Secure locking mechanism This mechanism prevents from coming off housing when handling the wire harness or applying vibration to connector. Space saving Adopting locking part on the connector, space saving for connector pitch direction is realized and releasing lock is easy. High withstand voltage design This connector designed for higher voltage proof than our BHS connector. Voltage rating is 3,000V and withstanding voltage is 5,000V. Crimping special wire Crimping contact is suitable for special soft high voltage-proof type wire e.g. silicone rubber insulated wire, due to low wire insertion force and easy mating connector.
