This connector is a development on JST's successful and hugely popular 4.5mm pitch YL wire-to-wire series connector, and represents JST's ability to develop new and innovative products in response to our customers exacting demands.
Incorporating clever design aspects, this connector utilises the inertial forces associated when the two halves of the connector are mated, to ensure complete and assured assembly.

Design to prevent incidental mating with the YL connector
The YLN connector can be easily distinguished in its appearance from the YL connector because of the rib position and the locking part design.
    Inertia force mechanism
This mechanism prevents incomplete mating and ensures complete mating by utilizing the inertia force generated by mating action of plug and receptacle.
    Interchangeability
The contact and retainer of the existing YL connectors can be used.
    Finger friendly design
    Easy handling with rounded-shape housings.
    Standards
    UL Recognized E60389
    CSA Certified LR20812
    RoHS Compliant
